Invite To ChannelLine Advisory Council Members and Friends
I want to personally invite you to attend the upcoming ChannelLine Advisory Council meeting. It is an extremely important meeting that will probably have a significant impact on the North American channel.
After at lot of meetings and a ton of talking, things are really heating up with the ChannelLine Advisory Council. In particular:
- We are launching the Trusted Business Advisor program (channel business certification, education, partner locator and lead generation, channel enablement, collaboration and channel advocacy). Companies supporting the program include: Ziff Davis Enterprise, TechTarget, IDG, IDC, Webcom, CNET, SMB Nation and a ton more organizations.
- Channel 2.0 Communities.
- We have launched the W3 Channel Enablement Program.
- We are actively moving down the path with AMCHAM (American Chamber of Commerce) with the IT BIZ manual and community (formerly referred to as: How To Successfully Do IT Business In Canada and the US).
- We have launched the Channel Sales Cycle Vendor workshop program.
Objectives:
- To discuss these initiatives and ensure that they are appropriate for the Canadian IT Channel.
- To ensure Council members understand how and why they should get actively involved.
- To engage Canadian talent on Steering Committees, Work Groups, etc.
What: ChannelLine Advisory Council meeting
When: Thursday, July 17th
Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Lunch: Of Course!
Location: 17 Moodie Drive, Richmond Hill, ON, L4C 8C9 (just north of Bathurst and the 407)
New Member Drive: Please feel welcome to invite other people to attend this very important Council meeting. Qualifications: channel experience and must believe in the channel. In particular, we are looking for:
- Channel marketing and/or sales people from the Vendor community.
- Marketing and account management people from the Distribution community.
- Owners, marketers, business managers and other C-Level people from the VAR community.
- Writers, researchers, consultants, publishers, channel marketers, etc. that focus on the IT Channel (ya … all the people who compete against me. Currently there are about 75 direct competitors to me on the council as we really have become a true industry council).
