Advertorials are paid articles that resemble editorial content but are written in conjunction with a sponsor, who has their own agenda. To ensure that readers are not misled, advertorials are cleared marked as such. The intention of advertorials is to educate and motivate customers, combining the credibility and breadth of information typically associated with editorial and the persuasiveness of advertising.

    Due to the current news format of eChannelLine Daily News, advertorials are not permitted on this vehicle.

    Two formats of advertorials are available in both the channel and end-user eFocused Reports:
  • Vendors can provide mar.com with advertorials which mar.com's editorial staff will edit
  • mar.com's editorial staff will work with vendors to write, produce and edit the advertorials on behalf of the sponsoring vendor or distributor

    Advertorial requirements are:
    Content rich providing useful information to readers that extends beyond a blatant product promotion or branding message, discussing one or more of:
    • Solutions around specific technologies
    • Trends
    • How to sell specific technologies, products or solutions
    • New technologies
    Format:
    • Headline for "blurb" 4 3 - 10 words
    • Copy for "blurb" 4 25 - 35 words
    • Article of 275 - 400 words
    • Author's name, company, title and email address
    • Contact details for additional information
    • Links to relevant photos, additional information, related Web site(s), etc.
